Young Learners Studio is designed for primary-age children and their parents or carers. All uploads and communication are managed by adults, with feedback written to support children at their current stage of learning.

Who provides the feedback?

All feedback is written by a qualified primary school teacher with over 15 years’ experience across all primary year groups and specialist expertise in English, reading, and writing.

Is the feedback written by AI?

No. All feedback is written by a real teacher, not AI. This means your child’s writing is read carefully and responded to with professional judgement, curriculum knowledge, and an understanding of children’s individual learning journeys.

How does the service work?

How often can I upload my child’s writing?

Subscribers can upload one piece of writing per week for teacher feedback. This keeps feedback meaningful, manageable, and supportive for children.

Does the writing have to come from your prompts?

No. You can upload any writing your child has done.
This might include:

• School homework

• Independent writing

• A story, recount, or description

• Writing inspired by our prompts or something else entirely

How do the writing prompts fit in?

Our monthly writing prompts are designed to support regular, low-pressure practice at home. Some families use them weekly, others dip in when it suits them. They are optional and flexible, not required.

How should we use the writing prompts at home?

Prompts are designed to take around five minutes and work best when children talk through their ideas first. There’s no pressure to complete every prompt — choose what works best for your child.

How long does feedback take?

Feedback is usually provided within a few days of upload. During busy periods, this may take slightly longer, but we aim to be clear and consistent with expectations.

No. Young Learners Studio supports and complements school learning but does not replace classroom teaching.

 

Is my child’s work kept private?

Yes. All uploaded writing is treated confidentially and used only for the purpose of providing feedback. We do not share or reuse children’s work.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Once cancelled, access continues until the end of the current billing period. There is no long-term commitment.

Do you offer refunds?
