Young Learners Studio is run by a qualified primary school teacher with over 15 years’ experience teaching writing across all primary year groups. Feedback is thoughtful, child-centred, and rooted in the national curriculum.

I created Young Learners Studio as a primary school teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching children across all primary year groups. English is my specialist subject, and I have led reading and writing across schools, supporting both teachers and children to develop confident, high-quality writing.

 

I know how much parents want to support their child’s learning and how challenging that can feel, particularly with writing. Many parents worry about what to correct, how much to say, or whether they might be doing more harm than good. Young Learners Studio was created to take that pressure away and provide clear, supportive guidance you can trust.

Having taught in every primary year group, I have a strong understanding of the primary English curriculum — where children have come from, what is expected at each stage, and where they are heading next. This means every piece of feedback is carefully tailored to your child’s age, ability, and individual learning journey. Feedback is never generic or automated; it is written thoughtfully to support progress while building confidence.

My approach is inclusive, kind, and encouraging. I believe children learn best when they feel understood and supported. Feedback always celebrates what your child has done well and offers one clear, achievable next step, helping writing feel manageable and positive.
